4th doll, Saturdays progress
She is getting prettier but not done yet!

Doll Reconstruction !!
I couldn’t take it; no matter what I tried I couldn’t make the arms look natural. The right arm was a smidge longer than it should be, and I tried everything to make it work, to no avail! So I think it was a good move. I cut down the polymer and changed both the arms, cut the neck shorter ’cause I changed the turn of the head. I’ll perch something on top of her hand that she’s looking at, a dragonfly or something else!….
the next day….did a bit more to face and body…new pics in the above slideshow. Will start on wings, base, hair……omg, still loads more to do!My third sculpture is finally done-Angel-Hallelujah!

I semi-documented the making of this third art doll on camera for those that might be interested in how I’m making these polymer clay sculptures. This is the first one that I’ve made standing on a base. She can be picked up off the base and replaced back on it for display.
